This page describes what information CryoTides LLC ("CryoTides," "we," "us") collects through this website and how it's used. It is not a substitute for legal advice — if you have specific compliance obligations (GDPR, CCPA, or otherwise), please have it reviewed by counsel.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us:

Account information: email address and password, when you create an account (handled by our authentication provider, Supabase).
Order information: full name, email, phone number, and shipping address, collected at checkout.
Cart contents: the products and quantities in your cart, stored in your browser's local storage and, if you're signed in, mirrored to our database so we can remind you about items left in your cart.
Affiliate applications: name, phone number, and social media handles, if you apply to our affiliate program.

We do not collect or process payment card information through this website. Orders are placed on a "pay later" basis — our team contacts you directly to arrange payment before your order ships.

2. How We Use Your Information

To process and fulfill your order, and to contact you about payment and shipping.
To send transactional emails: order confirmations, account welcome emails, and reminders about items left in your cart.
To operate your account and let you view your own order history.
To evaluate and manage affiliate program applications.
To maintain the security and integrity of the site.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

3. Cookies & Local Storage

This site does not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies. We use your browser's local storage for two purposes only: remembering your light/dark theme preference, and storing your cart contents between visits. Signed-in sessions are managed by Supabase Auth using its own session storage.

4. Third Parties We Share Data With

We use a small number of service providers to operate this site. Each only receives the data needed to perform its function:

Supabase — database, authentication, and backend hosting for accounts, orders, and cart data.
Resend — sends transactional emails (order confirmations, welcome emails, cart reminders) on our behalf.
Web3Forms — relays affiliate program application submissions to our inbox.

We do not share your information with any other third party except as required by law.

5. Data Retention

We retain order and account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to comply with our legal and accounting obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us (see Section 8).

6. Data Security

Order and account data is stored in Supabase with row-level security enabled, meaning your order history is only ever accessible to you and to authorized CryoTides staff. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

Our products are not for sale to minors, and this site is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your Rights & Contact

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing admin@cryotides.com. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable law (e.g., GDPR or CCPA).

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
